I am Full Professor (Catedrático de Universidad) of Medical Imaging and Electronics at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the School of Industrial Engineering, at Universitat Politècnica de València

My research focuses on the integration of advanced image analysis methods and artificial intelligence techniques within the field of medical imaging —particularly magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)— with the goal of extracting, quantifying, and validating imaging biomarkers that provide clinically relevant information. This work aims to develop computational tools that support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment monitoring, fostering a more personalized and data-driven approach to healthcare.
